How does Seedr make money if creators keep 100%?
Seedr adds a small platform fee on top of the tip — your fan pays it, not you. So if a fan sends a £5 Seed, they pay slightly more to cover Seedr's fee. You receive the full £5.
Do my fans need to create an account?
No — fans visit your Seedr page, choose an amount, and pay with their card. No sign-up, no passwords, no app download. The whole thing takes under 30 seconds.
When do I get paid?
Every Monday, Stripe Express deposits your Seeds directly into your linked bank account. There is no minimum threshold — even a single £2 Seed gets paid out.
Can I use Seedr alongside Patreon or Ko-fi?
Yes — lots of creators use Seedr for one-off tips while keeping a Patreon for monthly memberships. Your Seedr link is a great addition to any bio or video description.
What payment methods can fans use?
All major credit and debit cards via Stripe — Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Apple Pay on supported devices. Stripe handles everything securely.
What happens if I want to stop?
You can deactivate your profile at any time from your dashboard. Stripe handles any final payouts and there is nothing to cancel — Seedr has no monthly fee for creators.
